Brisket

I got this recipe from my best friend. Even though I’ve made it myself for years, it’ll always be known as Sandie’s Brisket. I’m not a good cook but this recipe comes out great every time!
6 lbs. brisket
1/2 – 3/4 bottle ketchup
1 pkg onion soup mix
1 red onion (med.) chopped
1/2 c. brown sugar
Mix ingredients together and pour over meat.
Cover with foil
Bake at 325 to 350 for 2 -1/2 hours
Slice meat when cold.
